If you can’t get together and pull yourself together to do some important things and deeds for you, and constantly put them off for later, then you have procrastination. You have goals, but they seem so complex and unattainable that you simply don’t understand where to start. You are doing something else and doing some secondary things in your own eyes to justify your idleness, why don't you take on really important things that can affect your life.

For example, you need to prepare for exams. Now the exams are on the nose and you know that for you this is a priority. But since it seems complicated to you, you don’t want to do this, you always postpone preparation until later. When you are not sure about the positive outcome of what you are going to undertake, procrastination often occurs.

People who have procrastination are prone to problems with self-organization. For example, if you need to go to school or work, then everything is very clear - you have a schedule and you follow it. But not everyone succeeds in working at home, because many people have trouble with self-discipline.

Sometimes you need a kick from someone so that someone reminds of the transience of time and its value, because it can be difficult to manage yourself. If it seems to you that loved ones are pressing you, then look at the situation from the other side. Perhaps this will benefit you, perhaps you need someone to spur you on.

Procrastination and laziness are completely different things.. Lazy people don’t want to start anything at all, they’d better have a rest than do some business. And people who are prone to procrastination intend to do something, but it is difficult for them to force themselves to get to work due to the fact that they do not understand where to start, they are afraid to make mistakes, they are afraid of failure or even success.

What is the danger of procrastination?

A person can be sucked and he will cook in this for a very long time. Since a person is under stress all the time, this greatly depletes the body. He will constantly feel both psychological and physical fatigue. This can lead to serious illness. In addition, a person may miss many different opportunities.

Less talented and clever people can achieve much more just because they are purposeful and they do not procrastinate. And a person who is trapped in procrastination can miss a lot of opportunities and not realize his potential.

How to deal with procrastination?

If you understand that you are procrastinating, then this is not so bad. None of you are so, many people are in a similar state. Internal imbalance and disharmony from the fact that a person does not know himself, does not understand what is happening to him. When you begin to understand yourself, then life becomes easier and more understandable.

Often you cannot take on some important task, because it seems to you so complex and difficult to accomplish that you do not understand what to take on in the first place. And you need to start with planning.

Procrastinators usually like to plan, they have many plans, but the problem is that these plans are too general. For example, there is a desire to put the body in order or open your own business. But there is no specifics. This is a major issue because it is important to plan correctly. Each goal must be painted in many steps. If you write down everything in detail, then your voluminous task will cease to seem so difficult and impossible.

Do not forget that you need to prioritize correctly.

When you complete at least one important thing, you will see how much easier it is for you to breathe, like a stone from your shoulders. You will start the next business with great inspiration and enthusiasm.

Sometimes there is not enough support from relatives. Tell us about what bothers you and what you want loved ones. If your family will support you, then this will help you to believe in yourself.
