To work on this bouquet, you need the following materials and tools: colored wrapping paper or foil, preferably gold, gold thread, corrugated paper, candy, wire and scissors.
Corrugated paper should be of two colors: the color that you want to make a flower and green for foliage. Sweets are preferably round and always tasty, because you will give them to the dearest person in the world.
Stage 1
Cut the colored corrugated paper for the flower and the foil into the shape of 10 × 10 cm squares, and the green corrugated foliage paper in strips of 5 × 7 cm or the same 10 × 10 cm squares. Also cut long strips of green corrugated paper 1-2 cm, and a length of 15-40 cm.
One candy will require two colored squares of the same color to decorate the flower, one green square to decorate the foliage and one long thin strip for the stem.
Stage 2
Wrap the candy in foil so that the gold color is on the surface. The foil should fit snugly without creasing. Twist the free edge of the foil into an elongated spiral under the candy.
Attach one edge of the wire to the resulting tip, and leave the free end long. The length of the free end is equal to the length of the flower and you should determine it at your discretion, but so that it would be at least 15 cm and not more than 30 cm.
Stage 3
Fold two colored squares on top of each other. On one side, cut two semicircular corners. Folds on corrugated paper should be located along the leaf of the flower, and not across.
Stage 4
Put the candy in the resulting double piece of paper and fold it into a flower. The candy should be located with the curled edge down, and the smooth side peeking between the flower petals. Press the corrugated paper firmly, wrapping it around the base of the candy with gold thread.
Stage 5
Cut one edge of a strip of green corrugated paper in the shape of sharp triangles or cloves. The pattern should run along the entire side of the strip. The length of one clove will be equal to the distance from the edge to the middle of the strip. Wrap it around the base of the flower so that the teeth look up.
Stage 6
Firmly fasten the edges of the paper to each other at the base of the flower with gold thread and wrap the stalk-wire with a thin strip of green corrugated paper. One flower is ready.
For a full lush bouquet you need from 30 to 50 flowers. So that the bouquet does not lose shape, and the flowers do not scatter, combine all the stems into one using green corrugated paper and thread or scotch tape.
Decorated in the same style, candies can be placed not in a bouquet, but in a beautiful gift box with a lid. Flowers are laid out with a canvas in one layer tightly to each other.
DIY birthday gift for mom: Topiary
Some people call the topiary a symbol of prosperity, while others call it the tree of happiness. It always looks the same: a ball decorated with flowers, sweets or other patterns, "growing" from a flower pot on a long leg.
In order to make such a gift for mom on her birthday you will need: a newspaper, a thread, glue, scissors, a satin ribbon, a tube for the trunk 15-25 cm long and 1-2 cm in diameter, a small flower pot, an unnecessary glass or a glass vase, a handful of real or decorative stones and a decoration for the crown of the topiary.
First you need to make a ball, which in the future will serve as the crown of a tree. It will become the base on which flowers, sweets or other decorations will be attached.
Stage 1
Crumple the newspaper into a tight ball and wrap it on top with an even sheet of newspaper. Tightly wrap the ball of thread on all sides to make a ball. Spread it with PVA glue to fix the thread. Leave the ball in a warm place until the glue has completely dried.
Stage 2
Wrap the topiary leg tightly in a spiral-like satin ribbon over its entire length. Fasten the tape with tape on the ends of the tube so that it does not unwind back.
Stage 3
Make a hole in the ball with a knife and insert the already wound leg into it. The deeper you manage to push it inside the ball, the stronger the tree will stand.
Stage 4
Glue the decorations prepared for the topiary in advance on the surface of the ball using instant or hot glue. Decoration elements are attached to each other tightly so that no gaps appear between them.
As a decoration for a ball of topiary, you can choose flowers, coffee beans, sweets or flowers from sweets, even folded elements of colored corrugated paper can be used.
Stage 5
Pour stones into a flower pot or glass vase and strengthen the tree trunk in them. The topiary is ready. You can complement the decoration of crafts with rhinestones, beads, ribbons, bows and so on ad infinitum.
DIY birthday gift for mom: photo story
If you are ready for creativity and want to give your mom something that she has never been given, then the photo story collage is exactly what you need. These are not just random family photos gathered in a bunch, but specially made for this holiday, bearing a certain meaning.
A prerequisite for this craft is that on each photo there is a leaflet containing an inscription or phrase. United in a single chain, these photos create whole sentences with wishes or declarations of love for mom.
For work, you need a Whatman paper or half of it, glue or scotch tape, special photographs taken in advance with signs on them.
The phrases on the plates in the photographs should convey the essence of congratulations or pleasant confessions.
Stage 1
Prepare some suggestions that you would like to congratulate your mom. And break them into passages of phrases. Each passage will be reflected in a separate photo, so write them large on A4 sheets using a marker or print on a computer.
Stage 2
Choose the area where you and those who wish to join in the congratulation will take pictures. In each photo, change the inscription on the sheet until the plates end.

Print the received photos in a photo salon.
