Lush pancakes are familiar to everyone since childhood. But many perceive this dish exclusively as sweet pastries. And here in vain. After all, pancakes can be vegetable (for example, squash, potato) so meat (from the liver, from chopped meat). Today, we want to offer you to cook unsweetened pancakes from the liver. You can cook them in a variety of ways.

We give a basic recipe, and you can add it at your discretion.

How can I supplement liver pancakes? For example, add fried mushrooms to them, and not necessarily forest mushrooms - champignons or oyster mushrooms, give reinforcement and taste, no worse than forest mushrooms. You can also add boiled buckwheat or rice. Fritters are more dense and satisfying. All kinds of vegetables - zucchini, onions, sweet peppers, carrots - also perfectly combined with the liver.

Ingredients:

Liver - 500 g;

Milk - 70 ml;

Egg - 1 piece;

Flour - 2-3 tablespoons;

Vegetable oil - 40 ml;

Salt and pepper to taste.

Recipe:

First of all, let's take care of the liver. It needs to be washed and removed all the films, cut out the veins. You can also soak the liver in milk for 2 hours. This procedure will remove all the bitterness. But you need to do this only with pork and beef liver. The remaining species of this offal are not bitter.

Grind the prepared liver either in a meat grinder or with a blender. Add the egg and milk to the liver.

Add the flour. Part of the flour can be replaced with semolina, then the calorie content of the dish is reduced. Salt and pepper the mass. Mix well.

In a pan, heat part of the vegetable oil and spread the liver mass with a spoon to form a neat fritters. Fry pancakes on both sides for 4 minutes. So fry the whole mass, not forgetting to add oil as needed.

Ready baked pancakes will be great to serve with mashed potatoes or boiled rice. Different sauces - ketchup and mayonnaise, will not spoil the taste at all. After storage in the refrigerator, the prepared pancakes lose their special taste. So cook enough to eat in one sitting.
