Hatred of bodily tights literally swept the fashion world. They are all condemned, and the women who wear them are almost shown a finger. For Russian women, such instructions from eminent designers were literally thunder out of the blue, because in a not so warm climate as in Italy or France, it is not that easy to give up bodily tights, so the controversy on this topic will not subside.
Elegance, which became a mauveton
Flesh-colored tights have long been a sign of elegance, as evidenced by fashion books from the past decades. The woman in them looked elegant and respectable. Many style icons wore such tights without embarrassment, for example, you can remember Princess Diana, Donna Karan, and even Vog editor Anna Wintour, and in some cases, bodily tights were worn even with sandals. The world community did not see anything special about this. What has changed?
A sharp aversion to bodily tights is associated with several things.
- Firstly, it is the association with the ladies of the past that makes body tights an attribute of the older generation. Ladies over 50 can wear them without fear. But everyone else, in order not to look like women over 50, in the light of today's trends should abandon them.
- Secondly, the modern world is ruled by the Internet. In most of the pictures, body tights look awful, they shine, and the difference between the color of the legs and the hands is too striking. In ordinary life, the image can be quite good, but all the flaws are visible in the picture, and the legs attract special attention.
- Thirdly, modern fashion does not pay attention to the climate and even seasonal things are mixed to some extent, so designers do not care at all that it may just be cold outside and you need to wear tights, and therefore there is no reason to wear tights. imitating the natural color of the skin, if you can just walk with bare legs.
When can I wear it?
It is permissible to wear body tights when a woman is aged or has a certain status, when it is simply impossible to appear at an event with bare legs. This usually applies to wives of diplomats and crowned heads. In the office bodily tights are also appropriate, because at work the dress code is much more important than fashion. You can’t do without them at important official events, where everything is grand and noble, and colored tights are unlikely to delight important guests, unless it is a fashionable party with stylists and designers. They will also be relevant if a woman creates an image of the past decades, when such tights were common.
Women who are not happy with their legs because of the fullness, protruding veins and other problems can wear bodily tights, because bright colors will only attract attention to the imperfect legs. But tights in this case should be as close as possible to the skin color of the woman, the less den in them, the better. Imitating tan and the like should be swept aside immediately. Also brilliant tights are not permissible, because they look frankly bad.
